Added a few things to the website today:

Great news!  My old website (The Foundry) became pretty much defunct within a month of operation, what with severe restrictions on available webspace at the time.  The 15MB my ISP allocated me (TalkTalk broadband - stay away from them!) just wasn't enough to allow for any decent content.  Now that I've moved to a new host with a very generous 500MB of online storage the possibilities are pretty much limitless!  Anyone who's familiar with my old site should know the gist of what sort of things'll be featured on here.  Could be a while before I have anything decent to upload, however.  The vast majority of my OpenGL projects were made purely for testing/educational purposes and as such wouldn't really be suitable for public use.  I do, however, have a "Tetris"-esque game I made in the space of a couple of days for a wager.  I say "Tetris"-esque for copyright issues.  It's pretty much exactly the same as the original but with greatly improved grahpics.  Nothing fancy, just general OpenGL niceness with a shader or two.

Better graphics for the site is also something I'll be working on in the near future.  "It's not a mission priority" at the moment of course; I'll mainly just be working on layout and content for a while before I put in any serious thought on graphics.  Same thing goes for the site name.  Think I'll just stick with "The Foundry" until I can think of something better/more appropriate.

Please don't email me about broken links - I'm probably working on them as we speak!  At the moment I'm just going have basic crappy plain-text links at the top of the page until I rattle together something better.  Think I might whip out 3D Studio Max just now actually..

Oh yeah, this site probably isn't going to look right if you're running at a very low resolution.  I'm fed up with sites that assume that everyone still uses a stone-age monitor that can only handle 640x480 - I don't particularly enjoy having 90% of my monitor real estate wasted on firing blank white pixels.  This site's optimised for 1920x1440, but'll probably still look fine even on 1024x768.  I don't know: I haven't tested it.  And I'm probably not going to. :)

Enjoy.
